The 2010 Meursault Charmes emerges from the glass with a rich tapestry of smoke, lychee, mint and crushed rocks. It is a beautifully nuanced wine that captures the generosity of Charmes without losing its essential minerality. Layers of flavor continue to build as the wine literally blossoms on the finish. This is a fabulous effort.

This is a fabulous effort. Anticipated maturity: 2014+. Morey-Blanc is the negociant operation Pierre Morey originally started with his wife to compensate for the loss of fruit from parcels he had previously farmed under a share cropping agreement with Comtes Lafon.
