The 2009 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes, from the negoce side of the domaine, has a light bouquet of melted butter and yellow flowers that gains vigor with aeration. You need a little patience here. The palate is nicely balanced with a creamy texture on the entry. There are lovely notes of apricot and peach infused with hints of shaved ginger on the sumptuous finish. Fine.
