(15% alcohol with 38 g/l r.s.; from a yield of 24 h/h, according to Olivier) Soil-inflected aromas of flint, smoke, earth, walnut oil, clove and menthol. Sweet on entry, then rich, spicy and quite firm in the middle. Very rich and tactile but not yet complex. Today the wine is dominated by its sheer volume of alcohol.
