The 2010 Nuits-Saint-Georges is a bit rounder and fleshier than the Morey. Layers of dark red berries, menthol and spices wrap around the soft, caressing finish. This is an especially juicy, up-front 2010 best suited for drinking over the next handful of years. These vineyards are in Prémeaux-Prissey.

The 2010 Nuits St. Georges is a bit rounder and fleshier than the Morey. Layers of dark red berries, menthol and spices wrap around the soft, caressing finish. This is an especially juicy, up-front 2010 best suited for drinking over the next handful of years. These vineyards are in Premeaux-Prissey. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. This is a terrific set of wines from Regis Forey. Quality is strong throughout the range, but Forey has really done a stellar job with his top 1er Crus and Grand Crus, where the wines truly sing. This is one domaine where the quality difference between 2009 and 2010 is quite striking. My strong preference is for the 2010s.
