Tasting notes
Good full red. Superripe aroma of chocolatey oak, plus a whiff of prune. Big, lush and rich, with smoky dark fruit, mocha and sassafras flavors. Broad, round and smooth. Finishes with ripe, dusty tannins and lingering chocolatey oak.

Jammy blackberries and smoky bacon are intermingled in the aromatics of the 2002 Nuits-St.-Georges. Medium-bodied, juicy, and sexy, it is magnificently lush, supple, and seductive. Its candied blueberry, black cherry, licorice, and blackberry flavors coat the palate and linger for 30 seconds. This concentrated beauty should be drunk over the next 7-9 years.
