Tasting notes
Irrefutably mediocre, the 2004 reds are herbal, thin, austere, unattractive efforts, and only a few will be recommendable after bottling. No specific tasting notes were given for this wine. Hopefully, the new owners will beef these wines up with a stricter selection prior to bottling. Importer: Frederick Wildman, New York, NY; tel. (212) 355-0700

Deep red. Suave, understated aromas of ripe cherry and smoked meat. Supple and gentle in the mouth, with lush dark berry flavors and very mild tannins. Quite sedate for Cornas, showing a delicacy and silkiness of texture.
