Tasting notes
The 2003 is a surprisingly dense, deep ruby/purple-colored wine possessing loads of smoky black cherry fruit as well as a hint of truffles. Plump, corpulent, and fruity with low acidity, it is an undeniable success for a 2003 Pomerol. Enjoy it over the next 7-10 years. This up-and-coming estate is in the capable hands of Alain Moueix. Prices are realistic for such a limited production Pomerol.

Mid purple. Sweet, exotic, non classical nose. Very sweet start then rather light and boiled out on the palate. Definitely not the most successful Pomerol. A bit too light and evanescent. (JR)
