Purple, very ripe fruit on the nose but without much definition. Hint of bacon fat and then raspingly dry finish. (JR)

Sweet, gentle, easy and already flattering to drink without any great concentration. Silky but low key. (JR)

Mid smudgy crimson look and nose! Quite ripe with autumn berry sensations. For the moment this is still a very simple fruity wine. Unusual in a top flight bordeaux! Distinctly embryonic. Some oak traces on the finish. (JR)
