Tasting notes
This wine is all about juicy, upfront fruit, however, there is only modest depth and length. A good wine for early drinking. asianpalate.com

La Clemence Plums, flowers, chocolate, licorice and ripe, sweet jammy boysenberry scents pair well with chocolate covered plums, fennel and rich, opulent textures. winecellarinsider.com
A big, muscular, oaky, modern-style Pomerol with better integration of wood than in many vintages, this offering exhibits some notes of charcoal, cedar wood, roasted herbs and an abundance of black currant and black cherry fruit with a hint of sassafras. The texture is rich and reassuring and the finish quite long, with moderate tannin. Forget this wine for 3-4 years, as it is a relatively muscular styled Pomerol, and drink in the following two decades. Feb 2013, www.robertparker.com
