Tasting notes
Deep garnet with bricky rim. More lifted than the 2007, deliciously spiced on the nose, a succulent spicy sweetness and just a hint of maturity in those mulched-leaf notes. Structure is a little firmer here, both in the tannins and the acidity but even so it is really harmonious and elegant on the long finish. Moreish and mouth-watering. Oak now nicely in the background. (JH)

Under Louis Mitjavile since 2007. Light crimson. Some warm richness on the nose. Then lively fruit. Quite a dancing wine with the burgundian overlay one expects. Very polished and digestible without excess sweetness. (JR)
Sweet, exotic, very Mitjavile nose. A property bought in 2007. Sweet and lively and burgundian. Racy and reverberant – quite a change from most bordeaux. Ready. (JR)
