Tasting notes
1986 marked the first in a succession of vintages manifesting the return of Rabaud-Promis to its status as a Premier Cru Classe. Full bodied, with an intense bouquet of caramel, pineapples, and apricots, this wine has gobs of glycerin, adequate acidity for balance, and a full-bodied, oaky, rich finish. Its evolution should continue to be graceful and long. Anticipated maturity: Now-2010. Last tasted, 3/90.
