2009 Biac

A significantly riper vintage than 2008, and you see it in the plumper texture to the fruit, and the dark damson colour - also a reflection of the higher Merlot in the blend, with the proportions almost the exact opposite of the preceeding vintage. The fruit is exuberant, with blueberry and raspberry - higher alcohol also, which emphasises the rich round texture. Ready to drink, still full of pleasure. Patrick Leon consultant.
