Score 91/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound

Deep, rich, discreet, almost shy aromas of red and black fruits, fur, minerals, damp earth and coffee trimmed with distinct if subtle ash notes followed by flavors that are equally broad if a bit low in acidity. While there is solid structure buried beneath all the sap, this will be accessible on the early side though it should hold well for many years. Delicious, impressive and powerful.
