Moderately saturated medium red. Pretty aromas of maraschino cherry, raspberry, smoke and game. Sweet, silky and easygoing but a bit less primary in the middle than the nose suggests. Complicating notes of licorice and herbs. Finishes somewhat clenched, with a faint greenness.

Good medium red. Musky, truffly nose. Fat, round and sweet, showing more material than the Charmes. But this still needs more elevage to extend the finish.
