Blackish crimson. Decidedly reserved on the nose. Very dry start. Pretty tough, though true to its appellation. In classical mould and only for those in love with St-Estephe's rigour. (JR)

Some berry and fresh herb aromas. Full and chewy, with slightly rustic tannins, but interesting in style

Tasted at Vintex. This has a simple blueberry and cassis scented nose which lacks just a little definition. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins, nice build in the mouth to a tart cherry, redcurrant and pomegranate finish. Nicely poised, quite feminine for a Saint Estephe. Tasted March 2010
