Refined and polished with lots of attractive warm fruit on the nose and real structure on the palate. Lots of vibrancy. Obvious potential to age. Good balance – for a young wine. You could drink it now with food but I'd choose to keep it a little while. Very juicy. Smart, stylish, typographical label too. (JR)

55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Blueberry fruit at first, then much drier tasting than I expected. Taut and not at all expansive at the moment, structure dominates for now. (JH)

Very dark. Quite gamey. Not brett but on the cusp... Fresh and lively – rises above sheer mass. A very satisfactory Médoc with 2009 depth. For the moment a bit dry on the end. (JR)
