Score 88-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Slightly stunted nose hints at ripe apricot and smoke. Opulent and very rich, almost in the style of a Batard-Montrachet. Peach and oak flavors, along with a hint of dried fruits. Fat and oaky, and not particularly minerally. Seems riper than the 2000.
