Tasting notes
The intensely fragrant (wood smoke, all spice, black fruits, and tobacco) 1995 Barolo Rocche dell Annunziata boasts a dark ruby color, as well as terrific extract, full body, and copious quantities of glycerin. While it possesses a velvety, evolved personality, there is lots of stuffing and richness, but few nuances. Give it another 1-2 years of bottle age and drink it over the next 12-14. A Marc de Grazia Selection, various American importers, including Michael Skurnik, Syosset, NY; tel. (516) 677-9300, Vin Divino, Chicago, IL; tel.
