Good ruby-tinged red. Sexy, exotic nose combines musky red fruits, smoke and espresso. No less sweet in the middle than the old-vines Gevrey, with lovely lift and minerality to its dark cherry flavor. Not hugely concentrated but shows very good balance and finishes with rather suave, supple tannins.

(13.5% alcohol without chaptalization) Good fresh red. Musky red fruits on the nose. Sweet and juicy, with a bit less fat than the old-vines Gevrey but very good cut. Shows an herbal suggestion I often find in Baudes but this is quite ripe.
