Score 93/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound, Apr 2005
Initially quite reserved but with air, opens to reveal impressively elegant and quite fine floral aromas of spice, earth, hoisin and anise. The medium weight flavors are intense, pure and moderately structured with evident breed and this finishes with excellent persistence. Quite understated with moderately firm tannins and there is just no hiding how classy this is.
