Good old Cissac, arguably even slower-maturing than a first growth (although the current regime claims to be changing this). Looks very young. Very, very firm. Quite noble even if a bit dry on the finish. A success for this château. (JR)

Good fresh ruby-red. Candied red fruits, cough syrup and hints of menthol and herbs on the nose. Slightly green but has good fat and breadth. A moderately dense wine whose edge of acidity frames its fruit and gives it cut. A good showing.
