Score 90+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Complex, musky aromas of apricot, grilled bread, coffee and ginger. Sweet, fat and dense, but bright acidity gives it a penetrating quality. Seems fresher than the Ruchottes. Solid underlying structure. Firm but not aggressive on the very persistent aftertaste. Really needs four or five years of bottle aging.
