Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2007

(from young vines in Musigny) Medium red. Lovely floral/mineral aromas of raspberry, orange peel and crushed stone. At once fat and sappy, with bright acids giving the red raspberry and mineral flavors an almost painful intensity and superb aromatic precision. A classic, juicy Chambolle bottling with superb life and verve. And, as in most years, the relative bargain in the de Vogue collection.
