Score 93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Bright dark red. Knockout nose features a basket of red fruits, roast coffee and tangy spices. Very sweet, thick and dense; a fairly big wine but vibrant and harmonious. Wonderfully intense red fruit and spice flavors build inexorably on the finish. Tannins are dusty and fine.
