Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Very good deep color. Deeper, more vinous, musky aroma of sweet dark berries and roasted coffee. Dense, ripe and delineated, with a stony precision. Doesn't offer quite the thrust of the Musigny, but has terrific cut and is still holding much in reserve. The tannins are finer than those of the village wine.
