(70% new barriques Pale gold. Expansive aromas of poached pear, yellow plum, melon and honey. On the exotic side, with more power than the Les Chaillets, but I prefer that wine's vivacity right now. The finish is broad, gently sweet and impressively persistent. This weighty, palate-coating Condrieu would complement the richest shellfish dishes or strong cheeses.
