Deep crimson. Something of the farmyard on the nose. Not recommended for technophiles. But a solid, mature Bordeaux for traditionalists that is now tasting drier than du Tertre usually does in its youth. There’s a hint of leather and saltiness too. I suspect those tannins will outlast the fruit. (JR)

Pale rim and good crimson middle. Some warmth and ripeness on the nose. Fresh and well balanced and flirtatious and very Margaux. Tannins pretty well hidden. Luscious palate. Very impressive. (JR)
