Score 85/100 · Drink 1997-2004, Robert Parker, Feb 1997

This superbly-situated estate rarely lives up to its potential, but the 1993-95 vintages appear to be moving in the right direction. Medium dark ruby-colored with a pink rim, this wine offers sweet, pure, cherry and redcurrant fruit in a gently suave, subtlety spicy, medium-bodied format. It is an elegant, restrained, smooth-textured, tasty 1993. The low acidity, and absence of any vegetal character and astringent tannin make this a wine to drink over the next 6-7 years.
