Bright, pale yellow. Tight nose hints at celery seed. Fat, dense and broad, with plump flavors of lemon drop, white flowers and spices. This shows less dimension today than the Clos de la Truffiere but there's excellent density, extract and length here.

Crystallized lemon, vanilla, truffle and menthol on the nose. Then sweet but on the soft side in the mouth, with honey and earth notes and good length. Some gas is keeping it fresh today but this could probably use more verve. Not a particularly refined style.
