Tasting notes
Magnum. Tasted blind. Looks quite mature ruby. Really mature and fun. Fresh fruit and not too much obvious tannin. Just very slightly austere. (JR)

Slightly darker colour than the 1995. Blackish tinge. Lacks a bit of freshness on the nose. Very fully evolved sweet fruit which could do with just a little more acidity though there are still perceptible, slightly dusty tannins. Veering towards rusty nail. Sweeter than most Médocs. (JR)
Fully mature colour – ruby. Very light nose. Well balanced, mature fruity drink with slightly dusty tannins but a distinct lack of intensity. (JR)
