Tasting notes
(contains a solid percentage of premier cru juice, especially Chenevottes) Complex, pure aromas of citrus skin and white flowers. Very firm, fresh Chassagne villages , with flavors of apple and pear blossom. Lovely acidity gives this wine grip and cut, not to mention good power on the lingering back end. A very good village wine.

Liquid minerals can be found in the nose of the medium-bodied 2002 Chassagne-Montrachet. This gravel, spice, and mineral-flavored wine is lively, fleshy, and possesses a pure, suave finish. Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY; tel. (212) 490-9300
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
