2011 Charmes Chambertin

A slightly curious nose that isn't what it should be though it's not overtly flawed. The round and seductively textured broad-shouldered flavors are on the forward side though the impressively complex finish delivers outstanding length with no trace of the odd aroma. This is frankly difficult to rate because while the nose is odd the flavors and finish are lovely. I would advise due caution here even though my score offers the benefit of the doubt.
