Score 83/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 1990
The Villages Vosne-Romanee, while light in color, offers moderately intense strawberry-scented fruit and a soft texture. The young Etienne Grivot, who now runs this estate in addition to making the wines of the Domaine Jacqueline Jayer, is one of Burgundy's most promising talents. The emphasis here is on pure, elegant, finely etched Pinot Noir fruit. The wine is never too alcoholic or tannic, but rather a prototype for the delicate style of Pinot.
