Tasting notes
Dried flowers, tobacco, sweet red cherries and leather lift out of the glass in the 2011 Vosne-Romanée. This is a decidedly floral, feminine Vosne with plenty of near term potential. The finish turns a bit ethereal, which also argues for drinking over the next few years.

A notably spicy nose features red and blue pinot fruit and cassis aromas that introduce supple and quite suave middle weight flavors that possess relatively refined tannins on the slightly clipped finish that displays some tart acidity as well as a touch of wood. Tasted: Jan 15, 2014. Drink: 2017+
