Tasting notes
Palish red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, cherry, coffee, spices, menthol and faded rose. Sweet and creamy but with an edge of acidity framing and carrying the attractive, moderately deep red fruit and spice flavors. Finishes with ripe tannins and nice length. This estate routinely acidifies its wines lightly to compensate for the loss of acidity during the vinification, notes winemaker Charles van Canneyt.

Moderately saturated bright red. High-toned aromas of cherry, minerals, flowers and spicy oak, with a liqueur-like candied quality. Sweeter and softer than the village Chambolle, showing some exotic high tones. Finishes a tad dry, with some oak showing. This needs bottling.
