Bright, deep ruby-red. Highly perfumed, vibrant nose combines raspberry, cherry, rose petal and a whiff of smoke. Rich, sweet and broad, but lifted by harmonious acidity. The dark fruit and licorice flavors offer impressive verve. Finishes with very fine tannins and excellent length.

Bright medium-deep ruby. Blackberry, violet and smoked meat on the nose, with a perfumed, rather feral quality. Concentrated, sappy and firm, with fruit-driven flavors of dark berry, black cherry and spice. Showcases the vibrancy of the vintage. Finishes brisk and fresh, with complex notes of violet, bitter chocolate, black licorice and spicy, smoky oak.
