Very dark crimson. A little bit of coulure on Merlot. Fresh and intense. Very grown-up indeed! Minty top note and very fine and solid and rich. Long. Lovely persistence and emphatic finish. VGV (JR)

From famous Professor Denis Dubourdieu’s home property, this soft, fruity wine always tends to offer oodles of black cherry, jammy fruit and a hint of roasted herbs in an elegant, supple, very satisfying style. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Vibrant deep crimson. Aromatic and very fresh and aerienne – more so than most 2010s. Not much density but real lift. Appetising. Though dry as dry on the end! (JR)

This has a lightly roasted plum and raspberry core, with a streak of firm chalk lending focus to the finish. A pure, minerally style. James Molesworth, winespectator.com
