Tasting notes
Pale red. Aromas of redcurrant, spices and mint. Intense and savory, with brisk red fruit, spice and saline flavors and a strong calcaire pungency. This delicate, flattering wine relies more on its fresh acidity than on its tannins for structure and verve. (Incidentally, the Bourgogne is in the same quality league as this Hautes Cotes de Nuits, but with slightly more noticeable tannins.)

Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, orange zest and earth, with a hint of musky reduction. Complex and expressive, with good flesh and texture promising early accessibility. The 2010s have very good levels of acidity, noted Gros, but this wine is a bit softer than the others.
Pretty tart and citrus and very precise. Straightforward and some floral notes. Very chewy at the moment but it needs filtration. Should please many. (JR)
