Tasting notes
Mid garnet. Bottle deposit. Very odd nose of dust and drains. Light and soft and a bit austere on the end. (JR)

Full bottle 1,275 g. Healthy garnet. Fresh and sweet. Really rather charming! At peak? But with some Lafite restraint about it. Attractive peppery edge to the sweet fruit. A nice surprise! (JR)
Particularly bright ruby. Lead-pencil nose and lots of sweet fruit. But some sweet toasty oak freshness too. Very flattering and neat. Quite long. In better nick than I was expecting – n o frailty. (JR)
Dark ruby with quite a bit of evolution at the rim. Sweet, Merlot-influenced nose. Light and rich and flattering. Almost mid-Gironde in its impact. Not that concentrated and a little bit dry on the end, but with lots of pleasure available. Sweet start but a bit drying on the end. Needs drinking. (JR)
