Score 84/100 · Drink 1990, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
Ruby garnet, with a fully developed, moderately intense, cedary, vanillin, fragrant bouquet, this forward-styled wine has soft, round, attractive flavors, light tannins, low acidity, and a casual resemblance to Lafite, particularly in the bouquet. Its forward charms and up-front fruit have served it well, but additional cellaring would be hazardous. Drink up. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 4/90.
