50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Blueish purple. Very little nose. Marked acidity plus light sweetness. Solid but a bit dull. (JR)

Very dark. Some succulence on the nose and lots or dry minerals but this seems like a terroir effect rather than winemaker meddling. Good appetising build – more St Estèphe than 2009 opulence but very appetising and savoury. (JR)
Licorice and berry aromas follow through to a medium body, with chewy tannins that turn a little dry
Tasted at Vintex. Good fruit concentration on the nose: blackberry, plum, bilberry and a touch of oyster shell. It seems a little “forced” at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slightly rustic tannins, sharp blackberry fruits, showing more cohesion and class towards the finish. Moderate length. Fine. Tasted March 2010.
