Score 90/100 · Drink 1993-2000, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

Like many 1989 white Graves, de Fieuzal does not quite have the grip and delineation one expects because of the vintage's low acidity. Nevertheless, this has still turned out to be one of the most successful wines of the vintage. It is a rich, honeyed, smoky-scented wine with wonderfully ripe apple and melon-like flavors. Anticipated maturity: Now-2000. Last tasted, 3/93
