Tasting notes
Hint of meatiness, then more leafy when swirled. More grip than most, though the tannins are chocolate-smooth. Not a lot of flesh, though it is polished. A bit dilute on the finish. (JH)

Vibrant crimson. Fragrant and quite Margaux-like. Racy and with real energy. Well judged and sensitively vinified. Bravo! (Though there is a little green undercurrent.) (JR)
Rated - No tasting note given.
Quite rich, dense and chocolaty aromas – unusual in 2007! Toasty, a little uncomfortably drying on the finish but some true fruity and terroir aromas. (JR)
About the producer

This Fourth Growth estate has been owned by the same family (the Sénéclauzes) since 1936. Over the last 25 years, later picking, a higher level of sorting and modern winemaking has fine-tuned the quality.
