Looks very evolved. Some raw greenness on the nose. Sweet start but a little raw and briary. Some volume. Chewy finish. High volatile acidity. (JR)

This is a relatively lean, austere, mid-weight Margaux that exhibits some pleasant black cherry and black currant fruit as well as dusty, earthy notes in an emaciated style. Drink it over the next 10 years.

Dense and polished and very Margaux on the nose. Slightly loose and slack on the palate, but at least there is no excess of green or unripe tannins. Fine as a small-scale wine. (JR)
