The 1982 Marquis de Terme is fragrant on the nose, well-defined and fresh with plush red fruit, rose petals, sage and tobacco scents. It is elegant but focused. The palate is medium-bodied with a granular texture, a mixture of red and black fruit, and a gentle grip. It builds nicely but is always supple and smooth. Black pepper and light saline notes appear towards the finish of what is a commendable Margaux, drinking perfectly now. Tasted at the Marquis de Terme vertical.
