Bright medium red. Wild aromas of raspberry, game and iron. Suave in texture and nicely sweet but not yet expressive in the mouth. Fleshy and pure today but this may well take a good five or six years to approach maturity. Really spreads out and builds on the back end, finishing with rich, ripe tannins and impressive texture.

Chargrilled aromas, earth, mint, lovely youthful fruit – quite a lot of development. Really likeable and showy. Precocious and delicious. (RH)
