Score 86/100 · Drink 1990-2000, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
de Fieuzal's 1987 is surprisingly robust, richly fruity, and a fuller-bodied, more muscular wine than the other top 1987s. There is low acidity, some soft tannins, and surprising alcohol and power in the finish. Although the wine is drinkable, it does not seem to have changed much from when I tasted it from cask. Anticipated maturity: Now-2000. Last tasted, 3/90.
