Soft, round, and fruity, with moderate concentration as well as light tannin in the finish, this is not among Cap de Faugeres’ top efforts over recent years. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.

Tarry nose and very deep purple colour. Rather raw, green fruit juice hits the palate – awfully green! Very difficult to see much pleasure here. (JR)

Ruby-red. Liqueur-like black raspberry, minerals, violet and licorice on the nose. Dense, sweet black cherry fruit offers lovely middle-palate pliancy for the vintage. Turns a bit more aggressive on the back, finishing with chewy, building tannins that will require refining during elevage
