Tasting notes
The nose of the medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Chambolle-Musigny Les Hauts-Doix is reminiscent of a compote of black fruits loaded with a myriad of spices. Medium-bodied and oily-textured, it has a sweet, juicy, black cherry and blackberry-filled personality that leads to a tight and firm finish. It is loaded with exceptionally well-ripened tannin that is barely noticeable within the dense layers of fruit. Projected maturity: 2004-2009.
