Tasting notes
Evolved rim. Sweet and rather cooked nose. Lightly burnt. Sweet start. Some succulence. Though it all dries up a bit towards the end. Improved in the glass. (JR)

Lightly toasty nose. Even some green notes. Just not quite enough flesh to satisfy most modern drinkers. Drying end. (JR)
Headily perfumed. Very dense on the palate. Solid and savoury – no specious sweetness. Competent, just not terrifically exciting. (JR)
Deep, shiny crimson. Rather sumptuous, sweet nose in the, say, Pape Clément mould. Good freshness of fruit – very easy ‘pleasant’ wine with slightly green tannins on the finish. A little inky but certainly a true representative of the vintage. Quite but not excessively light. (JR)
